Born of a vision given to Rev. Paul L. Anderson, the Fountain of Raleigh Fellowship organized as an assembly of believers in December 2009.  The ministry takes its name from the divine Word of God "For the Lamb on the throne will be their Shepherd. He will lead them to springs of life-giving water. And God will wipe every tear from their eyes." Revelation 7:17

In keeping with our Judeo-Christian heritage, the Fountain of Raleigh was sheltered at Temple Beth Or (House of Light) for three years. During that time, the temple was a source of light and love to fledgling congregation.

"For he will conceal me there when troubles come; he will hide me in his sanctuary. He will place me out of reach on a high rock." Psalm 27:5

The fountain and the menorah displayed in this case are gifts from and symbolize the special relationship between Temple Beth Or and the Fountain of Raleigh Fellowship. During the move from the Temple to our new home on Six Forks Road in 2012, the fountain was dropped and cracked.

As special as it is, the physical fountain, just like you and me, is a mere jar of clay. Sometimes pressed by the cared of the world, we, too, are cracked pots. Born of the dust, we are fragile and chipped. But, hallelujah, God still uses and fills cracked pots! His blessings overflow.
